Rock On Road Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To carve meaningful moments into the road of life, one slate at a time.
Rock on Road’s mission is to use handcrafted natural slate from Hong Kong
to preserve the people and stories that truly matter in your life –
family, partners, pets, friends, mentors, and more.
With every piece, we aim to achieve three things:
-
Protect a story worth remembering
It’s not just about “printing a photo”.
It’s about capturing the emotion and memory behind it, and anchoring that feeling in stone. -
Leave a small kindness in the world
For every slate marked with our donation symbol,
a portion of your purchase goes to partner NGOs (such as WWF and others),
turning your personal keepsake into a small but real contribution to the planet and society. -
Stand up for Hong Kong craftsmanship
Rock on Road is designed and made in Hong Kong.
With 35 years of gift manufacturing experience,
we want to prove that careful, precise and “picky” craftsmanship still has value in a fast world.
Our Vision
To become the rock slate brand that the world remembers for “Hong Kong craftsmanship + personal stories + giving back”.
When we look to the future of Rock on Road, we see a few clear pictures:
-
Whenever there’s a milestone, people think of slate
When someone is getting married, celebrating an anniversary, saying farewell to a colleague,
remembering a pet, or preserving a rare family photo –
we want “a Rock on Road slate” to be one of the first ideas that comes to mind. -
Every slate is a small step of kindness
We aim to keep working with NGOs over the long term –
from environmental protection to children, education and community projects –
so that every slate becomes a steady, ongoing support for something bigger than ourselves. -
Let the world hear a new Hong Kong story
Rock on Road is not limited to one city or one platform.
Through Amazon, Etsy, Shopify and our social community,
we want people around the world to know that:there is still a group of people in Hong Kong
willing to move slowly,
hold very high standards,
and do their best on every “small” object
that, for someone out there, means everything.
