The FSE Designer Programme is our creative partnership initiative — open to graphic designers, illustrators, digital artists, and creative professionals who want to earn income from their artwork without managing inventory, printing, or shipping.

Here is how it works in simple terms:

• 💰 You earn commission on every artwork approved and every order placed
• 🚀 We handle everything else — production, quality control, packaging, and shipping

Your job is to create. Our job is everything else.

We welcome applications from:

No minimum experience level is required — we evaluate applications based on the quality and suitability of your portfolio, not your years of experience.

Our designer commission is structured in two parts — rewarding you for both your creative work and ongoing sales:

We are always looking for fresh, creative designs that work beautifully on natural rock slate. Currently in high demand:

If you have a unique style or idea not listed above — we want to hear about it.

To ensure your designs are ready for UV printing on natural rock slate, please submit:

• 📄 File format: AI, EPS, PDF, or high-resolution PNG
• 🖨️ Resolution: 300 DPI minimum at print size
• 📐 Bleed: 3mm on all sides for edge-to-edge designs
• 🎨 Colour mode: CMYK preferred for accurate colour reproduction
• 📏 Canvas size: Matched to our standard slate sizes (provided on request)
• 🏷️ Layered files: Preferred — with photo placeholder clearly marked

We will provide a full design specification guide and slate product templates once your application is approved.

This is an important question and we want to be fully transparent:

• ✅ You retain full copyright of your original artwork
• ✅ You grant FSE a licence to use and sell your design on our slate products
• ✅ Your name or brand can be credited on product listings if you prefer
• ✅ You can withdraw a design from our store with reasonable notice
• 🚫 We will never sell your design to a third party without your written permission
• 🚫 We will never modify your core design without your approval

All rights and terms are clearly outlined in our Designer Partnership Agreement, which you will receive before any designs go live.

We keep payments simple and reliable:

• 📅 Payment frequency: Monthly — on the 15th of each month
• 💵 Payment methods: PayPal
• 📊 Sales report: Full breakdown of orders and earnings sent with each payment
• 💰 Minimum payout: USD 20 — earnings below this threshold roll over to the next month
• 🌍 International payments: We pay designers worldwide

You will always have full visibility of your earnings — no hidden deductions, no surprises.

There is no strict minimum — but we recommend submitting at least 3–5 designs in your initial application. This gives our team enough to evaluate:

• 🪨 How well your work suits the slate format
• 🛒 The commercial potential of your designs for our customer base
• 📐 Your understanding of print-ready file preparation

The stronger your initial submission, the faster we can approve and onboard you. Quality always wins over quantity.

• ✅ Flexible — no set hours, no deadlines unless agreed for specific projects
• ✅ Remote — work from anywhere in the world
• ✅ Part-time friendly — great as a side income alongside your main career

The only requirement is that designs submitted to FSE are original works and not simultaneously listed with direct competitor slate printing businesses.
